Adult Nutrition Daily System
For most adults, the best diet is the one that supports energy, cardiometabolic health, body composition, digestion, mental clarity, and consistency. Start with repeatable meals rather than extreme rules.
The Default Plate
- Half: colorful vegetables and fruit.
- Quarter: protein such as fish, eggs, poultry, beans, lentils, tofu, yogurt, or lean meat.
- Quarter: fiber-rich carbohydrates such as oats, potatoes, beans, brown rice, quinoa, fruit, or whole grains.
- Add: healthy fats such as avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds, or fatty fish.
Modern Workday System
Pick two default breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners. Keep a rescue meal available for busy days. Walk after one meal when possible. Protect sleep before chasing advanced supplements.
