Meditation and Mindfulness
Meditation is not about forcing the mind blank. It is practice in attention, awareness, and returning. Start small, especially if long silence makes anxiety worse.
Beginner Options
- One minute of noticing breath.
- A short body scan.
- Gratitude journaling.
- Walking meditation outside.
- Prayer or contemplative reading for users with a spiritual practice.
Safety note: If meditation worsens panic, dissociation, trauma symptoms, mania, or depression, pause and seek qualified support.
